Imagine International Preschool families are eligible to apply for subsidies of childcare fees.
Our school is categorized as an “unlicensed nursery”.
Unlicensed nurseries that have submitted their application to the prefectural government and meet the national standards are eligible for subsidies of childcare fees.
Eligible Families and Range of Eligible Subsidy (Maximum Amount)
- For those who have received the "Certification of Need for Childcare" from your local ward office and if your child is between 3 and 5 years old (Imagine’s Preschool Class student):
Maximum of 37,000 yen / month subsidy. - For those who have received the "Certification of Need for Childcare" from your local ward office and if your child is between 0 and 2 years old and who are exempt from resident tax (Imagine’s Toddler Class student):
Maximum of 42,000 yen / month subsidy.
In order to be eligible for this exemption, you must apply at your local ward office and your "Certification of Need for Childcare" must be approved.
Procedures to be followed by parents
To attend our school and receive the subsidy for childcare, you will need to submit a "Certification of Need for Childcare" (new No. 2 or No. 3) from your local ward office.
Please check with your local ward office for the requirements for working, etc., in order to be certified as being in need of childcare.
